Comic Relief comedy gig: Dara O'Brian, Jack Whitehall and Jon Richardson to perform on BA flight

Add to My Stories As in-flight entertainment goes, it doesn't get much better than having a trio of comedians on board to keep passengers happy.
On March 12th, a BA flight will leave Heathrow's Terminal 5 with the aim of hosting the world's highest stand-up comedy venue to raise money for this year's Red Nose Day appeal.

Jack Whitehall will take to the skies with an in-flight comedy setProfessional funnymen Dara O'Briain, Jack Whitehall and Jon Richardson will be on hand to raise a laugh among the 180 passengers on board and also try and earn themselves a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Comedian Dara OBriain said: Ive performed in some unusual places, but never at 35,000ft! Im really excited to be involved in this uniqueevent and raise money for Comic Relief.
The flight will last for two and a half hours and the comedians will take it in turns to entertain passengers with individual sets.The plane will fly over the UK before returning to Heathrow.
It is one of a handful of travel-related events that Comic Relief has announced. Celebrities including Craig David, Lorraine Kelly and Dermot O'Leary are set to follow in the footsteps of Cheryl Cole, who tackled Mount Kilimanjaro in 2009, on a charity trek to Kenya's Kaisut Desert.The team will start their journey over the tough terrain this month, covering 100kilometres across the barren desert in just five days and facing sweltering temperatures of up to 38C.
