The kitchen of our Tibetan guesthouse was open to a courtyard and had burners for big woks in the back. The preparation area with cutting boards was in the front, located in the light coming from the courtyard. I asked her if I could take photos and she immediately agreed. She continued preparing food, very focused looking down, while I just waited. Then suddenly she looked up and flashed this shy but irresistible smile.
